Based on intuition and rave reviews, Waite Maclin has known that in-house demos pay off. Nevertheless, it was reassuring to have proof. A representative from Whole Foods recently sent Maclin a groundbreaking independent study regarding in-store sampling.

The study, conducted by research firm Knowledge Neworks-PDI, revealed that first time in-store sampling not only has dramatic sales impact on the day of the sampling but also increases sales of established products and line extensions, as well as new products, for many weeks following. This is great news for Pastor Chuck who continues to make in-store samplings a high marketing priority.
