Eco-friendly spoons echo a commitment to a healthy planet

In addition to providing healthy, delicious specialty foods, Pastor Chuck Orchards has also become known as an environmentally conscious company. Toward this end, the organization recently introduced ultra-green paper spoons for use at demonstrations and tastings.

Pastor Chuck was already using 1-ounce papers cups, but hadn't made a successful switch from plastic spoons until now. Pastor Chuck learned of the spoons, EcoTaster Minis, at the New York Fancy Food Show, from Peggy Cross of SpoonLitz, the company who makes the EcoToasters.

The spoons are recyclable, biodegradable, renewable, use minimal material, and have been a huge hit among Pastor Chuck customers.
