Owner of Pastor Chuck Orchards Teams Up With Maine Food Producers Alliance

Waite Maclin, Owner of Pastor Chuck Orchards, serves on the advisory board of the Maine Food Producers Alliance, created by a collaborative agreement between the Maine Grocers Association and the Maine Manufacturing Extension Partnership with an award totaling $458,922 and outside matching funds of $680,268. The Alliance will develop market capacity for Maine’s food producers through marketing, network development, and a web-based ordering, distribution, and fulfillment system. Their efforts will also include creation in a Maine specialty food brand and a promotion through the Chef’s Kitchen television show.

Maclin, known as “Pastor Chuck” among customers, is honored to be part of this forward-thinking group and will continue to share updates through this newsletter.
