“To confirm this, we sent samples to Bia Diagnostics of Burlington, Vermont, a registered testing company,” said Maclin. “The results were gratifying: we are, indeed, gluten free. And, we’re now in the process of earning gluten free certification.

This is great news for consumers as scores of millions are choosing gluten free food choices. Gluten is a protein found in all wheat, rye, and barley products. “The presence of gluten in foods is becoming more and more of a health issue for people young and old,” said Maclin.

“Many people suffer from varying degrees of gluten intolerance,” he added.

“Celiac disease and wheat allergies are quite serious among a sizable part of the population…and we want even them to enjoy our natural food products just the same as everybody else.”
